Goober Madness is an animated short film that I conceived and directed as part of my Animation Production Studio class at Columbia College Chicago. This class was 2 semesters long and took students through the entire process of developing and creating an animated short film. Over that span of time, I oversaw a team of 26 other students and channeled their incredible creative skills to produce this movie!
Since it's debut in May of 2025, we have won 7 awards at various film festivals including The New York Short Animation Festival, Best Shorts Competition, Big Picture Peoria Film Festival, and have been nominees at the Lonely Wolf International Film Festival, Miami Women Film Festival, and Feel The Reel International Film Festival. We even made it to the preselection for the Dumbo Film Festival.
